Giant Coin at Wado Kaichin Monument

Description
At the Wado Kaichin Monument in western Saitama Prefecture, a place marking where Japan's first copper coins were made in the 8th century, a massive replica coin stands in the forest. Coins are left for good luck, as well as being washed in the nearby stream for luck before being left in the offering box at a nearby shrine.
